Jeff Burson - SYNTHscape radio program The PERFECT cover of this song by the Cars from the 1984 tune. Lance's vocals and the sharp electronics that could NEVER of been used in the 80s shine in the single. A must own single!

Eric C. Powell Simply excellent! The original Cars version is good, and The Grey Disorder's cover breathes new life while retaining the goodness of the original. In my opinion, I actually prefer this one. Stellar!

about

I was inspired to cover this hit by The Cars after the recent death of Ric Ocasek. This has always been one of my favourite tracks by The Cars and it was a pleasure re-creating it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

lyrics

Who's gonna tell you when
It's too late?
Who's gonna tell you things
Aren't so great?

You can't go on
Thinking nothing's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?

Who's gonna pick you up
When you fall?
Who's gonna hang it up
When you call?
Who's gonna pay attention
To your dreams?
Who's gonna plug their ears
When you scream?

You can't go on
Thinking nothing's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?

Who's gonna hold you down
When you shake?
Who's gonna come around
When you break?

You can't go on
Thinking nothing's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?
Oh, you know you can't go on
Thinking nothing's wrong
Who's gonna drive you home
Tonight?
