This track was inspired by my partner's father who is battling dementia. It's a disease that challenges who you are and who you once were. It changes the world around you and the loves ones who struggle with you. In the end, love always wins.

The Finish Line

Verse 1
Your face looks strangely familiar
It reminds me of someone I used to know.

Your voice whispers something
That I just can’t understand

Your songs, soothe my careless heart.

I loved with passion
I lived with faith
I played the game at my own pace

I’ve reached the finish line.

It’s got to be worth something.
This time my love.

Verse 2
I’ve walked these halls a thousand times
Photographs of memories that aren’t mine.

But I’ve got you here with me, so I’ll be just fine.

It’s got to be worth something.
This time my love.

I’ve reached the finish line.
I’ve reached the finish line.
What does it all mean?
